Since 2018, the city of Vannes in Brittany has created a municipal organic market gardening company. At the key: a municipal market gardener job that was quickly filled. This one is thus employed by the city hall to produce fruits and vegetables. Strawberries, rhubarb, green beans, tomatoes … Ronan, who took the job in July 2020, produces for the municipal restaurant, which supplies the city’s nurseries. The children can thus taste the local production and learn to know and appreciate all these everyday foods.
